The Fortune Festival is Here!
Greetings Spellcasters!
Recently we talked about a wave of new content and updates coming to Spellbrook, and we're kicking this off with our Halloween update! The Fortune Festival has set up just outside of Spellbrook Town Square, filled with fun and tricks for everyone!
Introducing: The Teller of Fortunes!
Head into the big tent and be greeted by Teller, a raven known for their wit! Play their mischievous games and you will be granted a variety of prizes!
Take a seat, trust the cards, and try your luck in Teller’s Tarot! Once every hour, Casters can take a seat at one of the Tarot Tables around the Festival grounds to queue for a game. During each match, you’ll draw cards in an attempt to build the strongest total without going over 36.
Know when to keep drawing, when to stay, and when to leave your fate in the hands of the cards. At the end of the game, the winner will receive Teller's Tarot Cards, a special event currency that can be exchanged with Teller for exclusive Fortune Festival rewards. Choose carefully - the cards may have other plans...
Teller's Challenge
Think you’ve mastered the Fortune Festival? Teller’s Challenge is waiting to prove you wrong.
Transport yourself to a fantastical parkour Realm and see if you can reach the end! Teller won't go easy on you, there are no checkpoints! Take a tumble and you will be teleported right back to the beginning. Hopefully luck is on your side!
Complete the challenge to earn exclusive prizes reserved for Casters brave enough to make it to the end! You can enter Teller’s Challenge through the tent located behind the Furnisher’s Fortune Wheel.
Furnisher's Fortune Wheel
Give the wheel a spin and furnish your home with a little Fortune Festival flair! The Furnisher’s Fortune Wheel contains a collection of exclusive Fortune Teller-themed furniture, decorations and curiosities for your builds.
To spin the wheel, you’ll need a Furnisher’s Fortune Coin. These can be purchased from Teller in exchange for Tarot Cards earned by playing Teller’s Tarot. Trade your cards, take your Coin to the wheel, and see where fortune lands!
Treasures of Dreadmere
For those with darker tastes, Teller has managed to get his hands on a few unusual shipments from somewhere much less welcoming...
Dreadmere Chest – contains a collection of gothic and dark-fantasy cosmetics and items originating from the grim, lawless city of Dreadmere. Expect sinister fashion, mysterious artefacts and plenty of items that would probably look more at home in a haunted manor than Spellbrook Academy.
Dreadmere Dreadfuls Pop Boxes – containing collectible plushies based on characters and creatures from across the city. Dreadmere may not be the safest destination for a holiday, but thankfully Teller has done the travelling for you.
New Pop Boxes!
There are plenty of new little faces to collect during the spooky season! Several limited-time Pop Box collections are arriving throughout the Fortune Festival and Halloween celebrations, including:

Each collection contains its own assortment of themed collectible plushies, from adorable little monsters to considerably less adorable creatures lurking in the dark!
The Cryptkeeper Crate
Something has been unearthed... The Cryptkeeper Crate is a brand-new Halloween Mystery Crate packed with ghoulish, undead and gothic rewards. Inside you’ll find a range of exclusive tools, Broomstick cosmetics and player armor, alongside a special Shiny variant of every reward featuring a striking gothic pink and black color palette.

Lumpkin Bash
Beginning October 15th, a strange new creature will begin appearing across Spellbrook – The Lumpkin!
These mischievous little creatures are at the center of our new world-event minigame, Lumpkin Bash. During the event, wild Lumpkins will scatter throughout the meadows of Spellbrook, and it’ll be up to Casters to catch them and throw them into waiting wagon. The more Lumpkins you successfully wrangle into a wagon, the better your score!
Lumpkins will also begin appearing naturally throughout the Survival Realm, where defeating them has a chance to reward Halloween Candy.
Old Grimwick's Halloween Exchange
If you find yourself carrying more Halloween Candy than you know what to do with, someone beneath the Fortune Festival may be interested...
Alongside the Lumpkins on October 15, Old Grimwick will take up residence in his cave near the festival grounds. Bring him the Halloween Candy collected from Lumpkins and other Halloween activities and he’ll exchange it for a selection of limited-time rewards, including Halloween Goodie Bags, spooky cosmetics and exclusive Pumpkin Furniture.
He may not be particularly welcoming, but his collection is worth the visit!
Trick or Treat!
All this candy talk only means one thing- it's time for trick-or-treating! On October 22nd the Town Square will open its doors for our Trick or Treat World Event!
Casters will be able to travel from door to door throughout Spellbrook Town in search of Halloween Candy. Some residents will happily hand over a treat... Others may have something considerably less pleasant waiting behind the door! You never quite know whether you’re getting a Trick or a Treat, so visit as many houses as you can before the event comes to an end!
The Blood Moon
The sky screams as shades of scarlet and crimson spill all over Spellbrook! The Blood Moon emerges, inviting the company of some even more powerful creatures!
Also arriving on October 22nd is one of Spellbrook’s most dangerous new world events: the Blood Moon. When the Blood Moon rises Spellbrook will become Blood-Enraged, transforming creatures into stronger and far more dangerous versions of themselves.
These creatures will be much tougher to defeat, but those willing to take on the challenge can collect Blood Vials from their remains. And somebody has travelled a very long way to get her hands on them...
The Blood Witch of Dreadmere
With the arrival of the Blood Moon comes a mysterious new visitor from Dreadmere. An Imp, a Vampyre, and a practitioner of dangerous magic, the Blood Witch has travelled to Spellbrook in search of the Blood Vials created during the crimson moon.
Bring her the Blood Vials collected from Blood-Enraged creatures and she’ll exchange them for a collection of exclusive gothic furniture, dark cosmetics and Blood Magic Spells. For Casters willing to brave the Blood Moon, some particularly powerful rewards await...
Day of the Dead
The final celebration of the month arrives on October 29 with Spellbrook’s Día de los Muertos event.
During the event, magical Marigold Petals will begin gently falling from the skies across Spellbrook. Gather as many as you can and bring them to La Catrina, who will exchange the petals for a beautiful collection of limited-time Día de los Muertos furniture and cosmetics. Filled with color, flowers and remembrance, it’s a very different kind of magic to close out Spellbrook’s Halloween celebrations.
